The technology of cast marble manufacturing was invented and patented in the USA in the nineteen-sixties.

What is Cast Marble?
The term "cast marble" stands for a polymeric compound of a mineral filler and synthetic binder.
During the process a mixture of mineral and synthetic binder of precise consistency is used for in duration into the mould.
Marble powder is used as the mineral filler, forming over 80% of the total weight of the product.
In order to give the surface of the product higher strength and durability, the surface of cast marble is covered with a specific wear proof gel coating ("Gelcoat").

while its mechanical and physical characteristics even exceed
the properties of the natural materials. The natural materials
are characterized by lower strength and wear proof, and needs

Unlike most of the traditional construction material, cast
marble is always warm (when, in) to touch. This factor plays

comparable to that of the varnish and paint coatings used
in the finishing of rooms and furniture. Casual scratches
can be removed with polishing.

marble shapes.
